High conflict custody cases are extremely expensive, both financially and emotionally. The children are always caught in the middle of their parent’s animosity and anxiety. When parents are distracted by the fight they cannot get their children out of the middle. Child custody cases constantly keep the parent's lives "on hold" while they wait for the next court date or decision to be made on their case.

The San Diego High Conflict Intervention Parent Education classes offer parents the opportunity to let go of the other parent and redirect their focus on their children. Both online and live classroom teach the following: 1) rules to control communication and contact; 2) positive anticipation strategies to insulate the children from permanent emotional damage;  3) strategies to stay out of the conflict;  4) understanding the differences between cooperative coparenting and conflictual coparenting; 5) how to get out of the system as quickly as possible; 6) positive discipline techniques; and 7) how to strengthen the stepfamiy.

The court ordered parenting programs include, coparenting classes, and three high conflict court programs designed to meet your court ordered needs. To learn more about these classes, go to www.CourtOrderedParenting.com.
